A 28-year-old Saskatoon man is facing four charges following an investigation by the Crime Reduction Team into drug trafficking.
Shortly before 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, officers conducted enforcement action in a drug trafficking investigation by initiating the arrest of the suspect.
The man attempted to run away but was taken down by a police service dog in the area of Muzyka Road and Lucyk Crescent.
Officers say he was taken to detention where he was treated for his dog bite.
A search warrant was then executed at an address in the 100 block of Padget Crescent. This produced $14,235, 235 counterfeit $100 Canadian bills, 4,824 grams of cocaine, 6 cell phones, vacuum sealer, digital scales, and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
