A 28-year-old Regina man is facing 14 charges including forcible confinement after an investigation on White Bear First Nation.
On Sunday at 5:50 p.m., Carlyle RCMP received a report of a male who had been forcibly confined, threatened with a firearm, and repeatedly assaulted at a home on White Bear First Nation.
Officers say he was able to escape and was treated at the hospital for injuries described as non-life threatening.
RCMP were able to arrest Braiden Hotomani at 7 p.m. that same day. A search of the property located an axe and a handgun.
The suspect was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Regina Police Service for attempted murder. He is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court on May 28.
