There was a fire in a townhouse development in Saskatoon’s Exhibition neighbourhood early Monday morning.
Fire crews responded to the 100 block of Elm Street East at 1:44 a.m. They could see smoke and flames coming from the building.
Firefighters fought the fire from both the interior and exterior and searched multiple suites to make sure everyone had gotten out.
Everyone evacuated safely and once the fire was out fire crews set up large fans to remove any lingering smoke and toxins from the building.
No one was hurt and a fire investigator is working to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
