The Saskatoon Police Service says officers tried to pull over a suspicious vehicle near 12th Street East and Wiggins Avenue in the city’s Varsity View neighbourhood but the vehicle sped away. This was around 2:10 a.m. on Monday.

Officers ceased the pursuit but located the vehicle unoccupied in a parkade a few hours later at RUH.

Officers were able to review video surveillance and saw suspects entering a cab and then went to the location where the suspects were dropped off.

Three people were taken into custody including the male of the trio who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching statutory release.

A 33-year-old woman has been charged with Breaching Court-Imposed Conditions. A 31-year-old man has been charged with Dangerous Driving and Evading Police. The second woman was released without charges.
