Saskatoon Police have charged two people following a weapons call from Friday night.
At 11:00 p.m., police were dispatched to a weapons complaint in the 500 block of Avenue X South. Officers were told that a group of people wearing masks had discharged bear spray and that a male was being assaulted.
Officers arrived to find five people matching the suspect descriptions. All of them were arrested without further incident, but a victim was not found.
One of the males who was arrested, police located a C02 powered firearm, a dagger, and brass knuckles. One of the women arrested was found to be in possession of a knife.
As a result, the 16-year-old male youth is facing eight charges, and the 21-year-old woman is facing four.
Both were scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Monday.
