A temporary completion date for Stage One of the University Bridge project has been announced.

Dan Willems, Director of Technical Services with the City of Saskatoon, says the bridge will see construction wrap up for the season and all lanes open up once winter freeze up starts.

“At this time the Stage One piece of work which includes the bridge and the piece of Collage Drive between the hospital and the bridge is very near completion. We hesitate to give a date, but we hope to have that open next week.”

All lanes on the bridge will be open at the end of Stage One, whereas lanes on Collage Drive between Hospital Drive and Cumberland will continue to have construction and have one lane traffic.
