Saskatoon RCMP say their officers are currently on the scene of a serious collision on Highway #219, approximately 10 kilometres south of Saskatoon near Township Road 352.The highway is currently closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Officers on scene report that visibility is reduced in the area due to heavy fog, with zero visibility in some areas. Other areas of the province may also be experiencing foggy conditions. RCMP advise if you are travelling, reduce your speed and drive with caution.
Meanwhile, a listener has texted and indicates there is a collision on Valley Road in Saskatoon by the landfill (pictured).
And a few short minutes after the news release regarding the accident on Highway #219, RCMP issued another, regarding a three-vehicle collision on Highway #35, approximately 18 kilometers south of Nipawin. Again, officers on scene report reduced visibility, reduced to zero at times, due to heavy fog. Motorists should expect delays.
