A woman was killed and a man is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision Friday morning on Highway 219, about 15 kilometres south of Saskatoon.

RCMP report two mini-vans collided around 7:15. A 48-year-old woman from a community in southeast Saskatchewan was declared dead on the scene. The road was closed for several hours, but has since re-opened. Saskatoon RCMP are investigating with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
