Officers conducting a traffic stop on Highway #1 west of Indian Head found approximately 111 kilograms of illegal cannabis and approximately 874 grams of cocaine in the tractor-trailer unit. The items were seized by Indian Head RCMP officers, and they arrested one man at the scene.
Indian Head RCMP on patrol offered their assistance after they came upon Saskatchewan Highway Patrol officers last Friday afternoon who had stopped a tractor-trailer unit.
Forty-nine-year-old Krenar Guci from Port Coquitlam, BC is charged with one count each possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession for the purpose of distributing. Guci is in court March 17th.
Sergeant Miles Kelly, detachment commander for Indian Head RCMP says collaboration between the RCMP and Saskatchewan Highway Patrol, which is part of the Provincial Protective Services Branch, kept more than 100 kilograms of illicit drugs from reaching their intended destinations.
