The Saskatoon Police Service says their officers responded to a report of an injured man around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday.
This was in the 13-hundred block of Osler Street but when police arrived, they discovered the man had already been driven to hospital.
Their investigation determined that an altercation had taken place between the 31-year-old victim, who was stabbed, and a 24-year-old man. The suspect had fled the scene but around 4:00 a.m. a suspect vehicle was located, and officers executed a high-risk traffic stop in an alley at 33rd Street West and Avenue W North.
A 24-year-old man is charged with Aggravated Assault while the victim remains in hospital.
