The Big River and District Volunteer Fire Department responded to an alarm at 8:18am on Sunday.

One house was already fully engulfed and crews focused on the second house, which sustained significant damage.

A posting on the Fire Department’s Facebook site showed firefighters working in extremely cold temperatures.  The photos below are from the Fire Department’s Facebook site.
