A 30-year old man was arrested Tuesday by Prince Albert Police and is facing charges of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine.
Officers located the man at a businesses in the 600 block of Marquis Road on outstanding warrants. Police say a search yielded 152 grams of suspected meth, 43 grams of suspected cocaine and $1,780 in cash.
Meantime, Prince Albert RCMP arrested a 36-year-old Saskatoon man on Tuesday in an unrelated incident.
Three people were in a vehicle that police attempted to pull over, but the driver sped away.
The vehicle, which was later determined to be stolen, was found in front of a Prince Albert residence. A man fled on foot but was arrested by officers following a short chase. Two other women were also taken into custody.
RCMP seized a loaded semi-automatic weapon with ammunition, drug trafficking paraphernalia and three packages of a substance believed to be cocaine.
Brennen Sewap faces a variety of drug trafficking and weapons offenses. The two women in their early 30’s from northern Saskatchewan are charged with similar offences.
