Highway 16 between North Battleford and Maidstone was closed for a period of time Monday following a serious collision.

Highway Hotline indicated that the corridor was extremely slippery, as well. RCMP report the collision was at Delmas. The investigation is ongoing.

Most of the highways across the province are reported as covered or partly covered this morning, however nearly all roads surrounding Regina are labeled as Travel Not Recommended due to ice.

This includes Highway 11 between Davidson and Bethune, highways 32, 220, 322, 2, and small sections of highways 1, 306, 33, and 46.
