Saskatchewan RCMP has issued a dangerous person alert for Big Island Lake Cree Nation and surrounding area.

Officers say there are two dangerous people with a gun in the area, and they were last seen on an ATV.

Saskatchewan RCMP are responding, and they are advising residents to find a safe location now and lock doors. A RCMP release says do not share police locations, and stay away from Big Island Lake Cree Nation.
