Precipitation was abundant in December with most stations recording near or above average precipitation totals.

Meadow Lake, Prince Albert and Yorkton each received over 150 per cent of normal precipitation. This was caused by various low-pressure systems tracking across Saskatchewan. All of the maps and charts are courtesy of Environment and Climate Change Canada.

There was a notable shift in temperatures with December below normal than average, especially in northern Saskatchewan.
