Sarah got a chance to chat with Peace Akintade, writer of The Wives. The Concubines. The Ritual. which is the latest production by So.Glad Arts, playing January 8th to 18th at The Refinery.

It’s a three-act dark romantic drama that reimagines the story of five of King Solomon’s concubines who are left behind during his extended campaign. They transform their harem into a sanctuary of freedom, rebellion and forbidden desire.
