The City of Prince Albert is introducing online parking payment options and a new mobile parking app this year.
The city is working with PayByPhone to introduce an online app and new kiosks at city-owned parking lots in downtown Prince Albert, 10th Avenue East near Sask Polytech and the Prince Albert Airport.
The app will let people pay for parking with their credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. They can also track payments and receipts through their account, and extend parking time without running to a meter.
The current options for parking payment will still be available following the launch of the app, which is expected to happen in the first quarter of this year.
An online survey will circulate later in 2026 for residents to submit their feedback on the parking options.
