Conservation officers are looking for tips as to who ran down and deliberately hit coyotes with snowmobiles east of Lanigan.
Humboldt conservation officers discovered four coyotes deliberately struck by snowmobiles about 11 kilometres east of Lanigan. Two of the animals were alive but severely injured and were euthanized on site.
Evidence collected at the scene indicates that all four coyotes were run over by the same group of snowmobilers.
A cash reward of up to $2000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of conviction of the individuals involved.
