The 2026 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canadian Women’s Curling Championship, starts today and runs through Sunday, February 1st, in Mississauga, Ontario. A total of 18 teams are taking part – Team Canada, three wild card foursomes and 14 provincial/territorial champions, including Jolene Campbell’s Regina quartet representing Saskatchewan. The 18 teams get split into two pools of nine teams each for preliminary round-robin play, followed by playoffs. Saskatchewan is in Pool A and doesn’t play their first game until tomorrow at 6 p.m. against Nova Scotia. Today’s lone draw goes at 6 p.m.

The 59th Saskatoon Knights of Columbus Indoor Games continues today and runs through tomorrow at the Saskatoon Field House. Today’s action starts at 4:30 p.m. with field events, while track events get going at 5 p.m. Included on today’s schedule are two Invitational events – the women’s 300 metres and the men’s 50 metres.
