The Saskatoon Police Service says a 28-year-old man is in hospital after he turned up at St. Paul’s looking for help.
The victim says it was just after 2:00 a.m. Tuesday when he was approached by an unknown man in an alley behind the 2200 block of 22nd Street West.
In a news release police say the assailant demanded cash, stole the victim’s wallet and shot the victim before fleeing.
The injury is considered non-life threatening. The suspect is described as a male in his 30’s, 6’2″ in height, approximately 230 lbs, wearing jeans, a ball cap and a blue hoodie.
