Leader RCMP have arrested a 50-year-old man in connection to a business fire that took place in October.
At around 2:40 that Sunday morning, RCMP officers and local firefighters responded to a fire on 1st avenue at a business following a report.

The business, bar and restaurant called the Halftime Huddle, was destroyed in the fire. Based on evidence gathered by police, the fire was believed to be suspicious. Now, Rajinderpal Basran from Calgary, also the business owner, is charged with arson with intent to defraud, fraud over $5000, and disregard for human life.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Leader on March 19, and the investigation continues.
