RCMP are on the lookout for suspects after a crime spree.
Monday morning Melfort RCMP responded to a report of suspects breaking into a garage on a property in Invergordon where tools and other items were stolen. Their investigation determined the suspects were driving a truck reported as stolen in Humboldt the previous day.
RCMP issued a Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory received reports from the public that the suspects stole fuel from a business in Archerwill then fled on Highway 6 at a high rate of speed.
Officers located the vehicle entering a rural property near Meskanaw which is 35 km southwest of Melfort.
Three male suspects exited the vehicle and although the RCMP contained the property, they say the suspects stole a second vehicle and fled. The suspects and second vehicle have not been located. The initial stolen truck has been recovered by police.
Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information relating to the various incidents, is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
One of the suspects was dressed in all-black clothing. A second suspect was wearing a blue winter jacket, black ski pants and an orange balaclava. Photos of the suspects are attached. There is no information on the third suspect, and the identity of the suspects are unknown. The second stolen vehicle is described as a 2012 white Dodge Ram truck with Saskatchewan license plate 319 KDQ.
