The 2026 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canadian Women’s Curling Championship, continues today and runs through Sunday, February 1st, in Mississauga, Ontario. A total of 18 teams are taking part split into two pools of nine teams each for preliminary round-robin play, followed by playoffs. The teams are Team Canada, three wild card foursomes and 14 provincial/territorial champions, including Jolene Campbell’s Regina quartet representing Saskatchewan, and is in Pool A. Campbell finished with 3 wins, 5 losses…tied for 5th place in Pool A and did not qualify for the playoff round. Draws today are at Noon and 6 p.m. On today’s playoff schedule…

The 41st Annual Marauder Invitational Basketball Tournament continues today at Walter Murray Collegiate. Eight senior girls and eight senior boys’ teams from across the province are taking part in the event. There are two games in the girls’ division today starting at 9 a.m., with playoffs in both divisions beginning at 10:45 a.m. The boys’ final is at 4 p.m. followed by the girls’ at 5:45 p.m.
