The Saskatoon Police Service says its officers responded to three separate stabbings overnight in Caswell Hill, downtown and on 22nd Street West about three blocks from St. Paul’s Hospital.
Around 12:30 a.m. police were called to a hotel in the 500 block of Idylwyld Drive North where they located a 20-year-old man who had been assaulted and stabbed. He was transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. No suspect description was provided.
Around 2:30 a.m. officers responded to St. Paul’s Hospital after a 29-year-old man arrived at the hospital with a stab wound. He said the incident occurred in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue South but didn’t provide any other details.
And just after 3 a.m. an 18-year-old woman had arrived at the RUH with a non-life-threatening stab wound. She said the incident occurred in the 1900 block of 22nd Street West about 45 minutes earlier. She told officers she was approached by an unknown man who stabbed her. He is described as being in his 30’s, 5’8″ tall wearing a black hat and a grey sweater.
