If you’ve received an email claiming to be from SaskPower, or you do receive an email claiming to be from SaskPower, with regards to a security update that asks for your banking details or credit card information – disregard and delete!

SaskPower says they have gotten reports from customers who say they received such an email, an example of which is in the picture provided.

In a news release, SaskPower says they will never ask for personal information in this manner and urge that anyone who falls victim should call their bank or credit card issuer immediately.

SaskPower adds that anyone who doubts the authenticity of a call, email or person claiming to be from SaskPower should contact their customer service line at 1-888-757-6937.
