Last Friday Saskatoon RCMP Services conducted a traffic stop around 10:45 a.m. during traffic patrols on Highway 16, east of Wynyard.

In a news release RCMP say they pulled the vehicle over for breach of the Saskatchewan Vehicle Equipment Regulations.

Saskatoon RCMP Traffic Services seized over nine kilograms of meth and fentanyl during a traffic stop.

Officers located a bag containing 4.907 kilograms of methamphetamine and 4.219 kilograms of fentanyl in the vehicle.

Two people arrested and now Pavitar Singh along with Manan Kumar, both from Edmonton, are facing two counts each of possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking.

They are scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court Thursday.
