The Saskatoon Airport is introducing several new projects in 2026, targeting development, safety, and customer comfort.
President of the Saskatoon Airport Authority Stephen Maybury says, as previously announced, a $12 million arrival hall revamp will begin in June. This will include replacement of the two main escalators, pavement upgrades, and a Saskatchewan- centered design.
What’s brand new, however, is the unveiling of an industrial land development site on the north side of Claypool Drive. In partnership with Colliers, the Airport will be leasing up to 60 acres of land to companies in the businesses of agriculture, aviation, technology, and mining.
The land lease extends to 2079. Colliers indicates that discussions with potential businesses and developers are already underway.
