The City of Saskatoon says all loose concrete has been removed from the area and the traffic restrictions have been lifted on Circle Drive at the 108th Steet Overpass.
The over-height load hit the structure around 5 p.m. Wednesday. City officials say structural engineers have completed an assessment and confirmed the overpass is safe for use.
Engineers also completed a detailed inspection to understand the scope of repairs required.
It was a week ago today that an over-height semi hit the overpass at Highway 11 and Highway 16 causing enough damage that Highway 16 eastbound traffic will remain reduced to a single lane until repairs can be completed.
