Saskatchewan RCMP’s Homicide Investigation Unit is investigating following the death of a 30-year-old North Battleford man.
Friday at 7:45 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of an injured man in a business parking lot off the Highway #16 Bypass in North Battleford. He was shortly declared dead by EMS at the scene.
RCMP considered his death suspicious, prompting the Homicide Unit to take over the investigation.
There will be an increased police presence in the area for the time being, and anyone with information is asked to contact their local police.
