This weekend the Langham Fire Department responded to a house fire on a rural property and Dalmeny Fire Department was called into assist.

When fire crews arrived, the owner said smoke was coming from a back room and firefighters determined flames were coming from one room.

While the fire was contained to one room, a pup was found in the house, and firefighters attempted resuscitation of the animal, but the pet did not survive.
