A 22-year-old Prince Albert woman will appear in court today in connection to two separate assault incidents that occurred in early April.
On April 1st, at 9:39 a.m., police received a report of an assault in the 100 block of 14th Street East.
A 16-year-old female victim said she was approached by an unknown woman while waiting at a transit location. The suspect became confrontational before hitting the tee in the face and running away. The victim sustained minor injuries.
Then, on April 9, at 7:47 p.m., police were dispatched to a business in the 800 block of 15th Street East for a report of a disturbance involving an unwanted person.
Officers learned the very same woman refused to leave and became involved in a physical altercation with security and members of the public. The woman was arrested nearby, and the 34-year-old male victim was taken to hospital with injuries.
