Despite the current weather being better suited for the end of a football season, the start of the 2026 campaign is just around the corner.

Everything starts next Thursday with the annual Dog’s Breakfast, immediately followed by Huskies spring camp and Saskatoon Hilltops’ spring camp next weekend. Not long after that, Saskatchewan Roughriders’ rookie camp rolls into Saskatoon on May 6, main camp on the 10th and the first C-F-L pre-season game to be played in Saskatoon in 35 years on May 23. That’ll feature the Green and White against Winnipeg at Griffiths Stadium.
