RCMP officers were busy on Saturday after illicit drugs, weapons, and drug trafficking paraphernalia were found during a traffic stop in Sandy Bay.
At 12:30 p.m., RCMP received a report of a possible impaired driver near Sandy Bay. Officers located an SUV with four occupants parked at a home, and upon approaching the vehicle, officers were able to see weapons and illicit drugs inside the SUV in plain view.
Officers arrested all four occupants, and a search of the vehicle produced weapons, 53 grams of meth, 172 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of amphetamine, 155 grams of crack cocaine, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Now, 27-year-old Totteana Johnson from Prince Albert, 29-year-old Theresa Linklater from Pelican Narrows, and 23-year-old Elizabeth Sanderson from Prince Albert have been charged.
The fourth occupant of the vehicle was released without charge.
