Three people are facing charges, including a 14-year-old girl, following an evade police incident this morning. 

At 4:45 a.m., officers spotted a stolen Toyota Matrix at Clarence Avenue and 8th Street East.  

Officers say when they attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver of the stolen vehicle refused and drove away.  Officers, again, located the vehicle a short time later at 33rd Street and Edmonton Avenue, abandoned. 

Police say the three suspects were located nearby. The two females taken were into custody without incident, but the male, giving officers some grief, was captured by the SPS Canine Unit.  

Now, the 28-year-old man is facing charges of Dangerous Driving and Evading Police. The 14-year-old female is facing charges of Possession of a Weapon and Possession of Methamphetamine. The 27-year-old woman is facing charges including Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of a Weapon.
