A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an 18-year-old woman from the Big River First Nation on a long list of charges relating to a robbery and assault investigation. The list of the charges can be found below. Mariah Bill is described as being 5’7″ inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with brown eyes and dyed red hair. According to a Saskatchewan RCMP news release, on May 17, at about 9:45 p.m., the Big River detachment received a report of a robbery on Highway #793 on the Big River First Nation. Responding officers determined that an SUV was stopped on the side of the highway with a group of individuals approaching the vehicle and demanding the keys. An altercation ensued, during which bear spray was deployed into the SUV, which was subsequently stolen. The suspects and the stolen SUV have yet to be located. The vehicle is a black Hyundai Tucson with Saskatchewan license plate 089 NFP. Big River RCMP continue to attempt to locate Mariah Bill and are asking the public to report any sightings or information as to her whereabouts. However, they do caution not to approach Mariah Bill if you see her. Any information as to Mariah Bill’s whereabouts or information about the stolen SUV should be reported to the Big River detachment at 310-RCMP or contact Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
