Find some shade. Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for much of central and southwestern Saskatchewan, spanning from Meadow Lake south to the U.S. border.
Impacted communities include Lloydminster, Prince Albert, North Battleford, Regina, and Weyburn; however, Saskatoon is left out of the area of concern.
The warning reads that daytime highs in the low to mid-thirties combined with overnight lows in the high teens are expected for the remainder of the week.
Environment Canada advises the public to take action to protect yourself and others, as extreme heat can affect everyone’s health.
