The worst of the flooding is over, at least for now, in east-central Saskatchewan near the Manitoba border.

From flooding to fires— 72 wildfires are currently burning in the province, mainly in the far North. Nine are not contained. A fire about 20 kilometres southwest of La Ronge is looking good, with zero flames and only smoke. Fire crews are working on blazes in the Wollaston Lake and Southend areas. Bryan Chartrand with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency says some of the fires are a challenge for crews.
