A man has been arrested in relation to a stolen City of Saskatoon truck incident.
On Monday around 2:25 p.m., police received a report of a stolen City of Saskatoon truck in the area of 36th Street East and Ontario Avenue.
Officers managed to track the truck and found it was travelling westbound outside city limits on Beam Road. Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit began to monitor the truck.
The vehicle eventually stopped in the area of Beam Road and Range Road 3070 where the driver exited the truck and began to run away. ASU was able to direct ground units to the suspects location where he was arrested without further incident.
Members of the Saskatchewan RCMP, Corman Park Police Service and the RM of Vanscoy Police Service also helped in the investigation.
The 44-year-old man has been charged with Dangerous Driving and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
