Corman Park Police along with members from Saskatoon Police, RCMP, Dalmeny Police, Vanscoy Police, Saskatchewan Highway Patrol, and Saskatchewan Conservation Officers set up a check stop on Highway 16 at the Langham scales on Tuesday July 21 during Ag in Motion.

They checked approximately 1400 vehicles and there were two people who ended up with driver suspension for alcohol and five for drugs.

The police conducted 107 mandatory approved screen device tests, 22 suspicion ASD samples and 12 oral fluid tests.

In addition to the seven driver suspensions handed out, nine tickets and 10 warning notices were issued.

In light of the number of fatal accidents already this summer the police services worked together on the Field of Stars event to ensure everyone planned a safe ride home.
