Tens of thousands of dollars in damage to housing units under construction in La Loche. RCMP say someone broke into several brand new housing units overnight Friday into Saturday and did major damage to the units including broken windows, smashed drywall and smashed toilets.

The La Loche detachment says that although the construction company wasn’t able yet to provide an exact dollar amount the damages are believed to be in the tens of thousands of dollars. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact La Loche RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
