A man who was originally charged with second degree murder in the death of 41 year old Terrance Paintednose during a street robbery, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced this week to 11 years in jail. Tyrone Morin was 22 years old at the time of the stabbing in the 300 block of Avenue R South, which took place on February 9th of 2020. Paintednose was transported to hospital but he succumbed to his injuries. Morin was also given a concurrent sentence of 90 days for breaching probation, and he has a lifetime for possessing weapons.
