After a lengthy investigation, Saskatchewan RCMP have arrested and charged a teacher’s assistant from Ecole Gravelbourg School, who is alleged to have committed offences involving a teenaged boy, a student at the school. The investigation began In September, when Gravelbourg RCMP received a report of sexual offences involving a male youth. Dannica Lowes of Moose Jaw is facing multiple charges including sexual assault, sexual interference, luring a child and invitation to sexual touching. She will appear in court in Assiniboia on December 14th.

As part of this investigation, and any other investigation into reports of sexual assaults against children or other vulnerable people, the RCMP is investigating whether there are additional victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or leave an anonymous tip with Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
