Charges have been laid in connection to a homicide being investigated by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes.
Friday, with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Forensic Identification Services and Yorkton Detachment, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes arrested a woman in connection to the death of William Byblow.
On Thursday around 9:15 a.m. Yorkton RCMP conducted a welfare check at a home on 6th Avenue North in Yorkton where they located a deceased man.
Due to the circumstances of the incident, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes considered the death a homicide.
61-year-old Donna Spilchen is charged with one count, second degree murder.
She is remanded and scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on Monday, December 4, at 9:30 a.m. Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate.
