Two men entered a business in Rosthern around 7:30 Monday night with an axe and a knife and stole cash. Saskatchewan RCMP say a woman stayed in a vehicle and later helped them to flee. No one in the business was physically injured.
The three were located and arrested on Wednesday and the axe, knife and cash have since been recovered. Twenty-two-year-old Kayden Aubichon from Prince Albert and 23-year-old Rico Opikokew of Canoe Lake are facing charges including two counts of robbery with an offensive weapon, one count of assault with a weapon and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence. Thirty-year-old Kristy Charles from Prince Albert is facing two counts of robbery with an offensive weapon.
The Prince Albert Police Service has also reported that Aubichon, who was wanted for being unlawfully at large, had been found and arrested on Wednesday.
