SaskTIP has posted pictures on social media as the charity organization looks for tips to find the individuals who shot and left between nine and twelve snow geese. The geese were left to waste frozen into and on top of the ice and two crippled geese were also left to suffer. They were put down by a Conservation Officer.
SaskTIP says this happened sometime between March 22nd and April 1st on grid road 707, Southwest of Beaubier in the RM of Lake Alma. Beaubier is about 54 kilometres east of Estevan. At the time, the spring snow goose season was open.
