Charles invites eccentric medium Madame Arcati to his home for research, but the dinner-party séance unexpectedly summons the ghost of his first wife. Chaos erupts as Charles tries to rid himself of the ghost while she schemes to oust his new wife in this witty supernatural comedy of manners.
