While the Mccafe fire is now an estimated 28,000 acres in size, the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency says smoke at times could be heavy but short-lived. According to Chief Tammy Cook Searson of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB), she says she was informed yesterday by the SPSA that the Mccafe fire is 80 per cent contained and is no longer a threat to the community. The general evacuation order, which forced Stanley Mission residents to evacuate on Friday, is being lifted.
