A 47-year-old man from southern Saskatchewan has been accused of numerous sex crimes involving children.
Richard Dyke was initially arrested in November following a search warrant at his home in Assiniboia where his spouse was operating a registered daycare.
At the time, Dyke was charged with offenses involving three boys under the age of 12. Since that time, RCMP investigators have been sifting through mountains of seized evidence. Chief Superintendent Ted Munro is the officer in charge of criminal operations for the Saskatchewan RCMP.
The investigation identified another 29 victims between the ages of 18-months to 17-years old. The majority are male from Assinaboia, Coronach, Estevan, Swift Current and Tisdale.
The alleged crimes are said to have occurred between 2005 and 2023.
RCMP say Dyke was also an Air Cadets instructor, but none of the victims are connected to that role.
Dyke will be in Moose Jaw provincial court on June 4th to face 14 counts of sexual assault, 14 counts of sexual interference, 23 counts of making child pornography and nine counts of voyeurism.
