Today is the first official day on the job for Saskatoon’s new police chief. Last month, the Board of Police Commissioners announced that Deputy Chief Cameron McBride has been selected.
Police Chief McBride, who has 27 years of policing experience, says he believes strongly in cooperation, teamwork, and acknowledging colleagues for the work they do. He says he intends to mimic the trust-building ways of former Police Chief Cooper who announced his retirement last October.
