Wakaw RCMP advise there was a serious accident between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Sunday.

The accident occurred on Highway 2 ,10 kilometres south of Wakaw.

The advisory was issued shortly before 6:30 p.m. Sunday and traffic was being diverted around the accident scene. An RCMP Collision Analyst was assisting in the investigation.

The Highway Hotline this morning shows the highway is again open to traffic.

There is no word on injuries.
